Assalamualaikum.

Welcome to Army Medical College Jashore (AMCJ).

Please accept our warm greeting from AMCJ one of best Medical College in Bangladesh.

The AMCJ was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh with the aim of promoting Medical facilities to every one of the country. Since then, this college has made all possible endeavors to reach up to the expectation through its facilities and infrastructure development. The present beautiful ironic building was inaugurated by the respected Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh, Army on 30 Apr 2023.  Now the college is equipped all the modern facilities with simulation Lab, Library, Spectacular Dormitory with Playground, Air conditioned lecture hall, Air conditioned Conference room, Air conditioned Auditorium and dissection hall etc. In a nutshell this college is going to fulfill the requirement of modern need.

AMCJ aims to fulfill the vision and objective and set by AMCJ. The college strongly follows the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) curriculum while it is affiliated by Bangladesh University of Bangladesh (BUP), Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC), Army Welfare Trust, AHQ. It is important to note that this college is closely looked after by the Area HQ Jashore, since the Area Commander is the Chairman of the Governing Body.

AMCJ considers humanity as a pre-condition for a good doctor. As such it strives hard to instill human qualities to the students. The human ethics, morale value and character building is our strength through regular games and sports and other national and international programme. It publishes college Journal and Magazine to build the intelligence faculty development of the students. It regularly organizes seminar, essay competition etc to develop the skill of addressing audiences. Since 2015 a huge number of our students have placed themselves in higher studies like FCPS, M Phil etc.

We are proud to say that our students are now teaching at AMCJ, some of them are the proud member of Bangladesh Army and other renowned Institutions. Since, 2023 AMCJ stepped in to the field of global medical studies by obtaining foreign students. Today AMCJ widely recognized by world directly of medical  schools (WDOMS) in the forces of evacuation commission for foreign medical Ground (ECFMG), Canada and USA.

We offer you to visit our college campus to see the culture of learning. We follow the motto of the Jashore area ‘Excellence Everywhere’. May Allah allow us to become one of the best medical colleges in BD persuing our vision to be recognized as the finest medical college nationally and internationally.
